Dr. Edward J. Robinson is a dedicated minister, scholar, and educator whose life's work bridges faith, history, and social justice. A native of Jacksonville, Texas, he has been preaching the gospel for over thirty-five years. He serves as the pulpit minister for the North Tenneha Church of Christ in Tyler, Texas. Since assuming this role in July 2018, Dr. Robinson has been recognized for his unwavering commitment to the doctrine of Christ and his passion for nurturing a spiritually vibrant congregation.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Dr. Robinson is an Associate Professor of History and Religion at Texas College. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in American and African American History from Mississippi State University, a Master of Arts in Classical Greek from the University of Illinois, and both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Harding School of Theology. He began his higher education with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Religious Education from Southwestern Christian College.
